Kayla + Hunter | Engagement Session | Smithfield, Virginia

Where do I begin? Many years ago, I met Kayla as a sweet little girl. Her mom would bring her into work and she was just this adorable sweetheart with bright blonde hair. Fast forward a few years, and we ended up moving right next door to them. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow up and become one remarkable woman!

A few months ago, she announced that her and her fiance eloped but were planning a wedding in November of 2019 and they wanted us to photograph it. Of course I said yes because we love that girl and her family! It's gonna be so much fun!

For their engagement shoot (wink, wink), we decided that Smithfield was the best place and of course it did not disappoint. It was quite a cloudy day and we lost light quickly but these moody portraits make my heart sing especially with her red dress!

I can't wait for November!
