Fort Monroe Engagements | April and James

When I had my consultation with April, we couldn't stop talking! I love it when I meet a bride that I instantly connect with so I knew that James had to be the same way!

Due to the crazy amount of rain Coastal Virginia has been getting lately, we had to reschedule the session once. I am so glad we did because we were blessed with clear skies and my favorite golden hour!

James really wanted to do their session at the beach but you know I had to suggest that we start out at the Fort then move our way to the beach. It worked out perfectly. It's always nice to choose a location that has multiple mini locations within it.

Christian and I had such a good time getting to know these two lovebirds. They instantly perfected each pose and blew us away! Posing is a great tool to start the couple out on but when they can add their personalities to the mix, that's when the portraits are good! We can't wait for their August wedding in Smithfield. April is gonna make one beautiful bride!
