Brooke & Scott | Married | Fort Monroe
Let's just start with how Brooke and I are a bride/photographer match made in heaven. When we met in June, it was so easy to talk to one another. We have crazy similarities. We are both teachers and we both like to hike but most of all, we both pay close attention to details. Most teachers do:)
I didn't get the pleasure of meeting Scott until the day of the wedding but let's just say that he did so well in front of the camera. Brooke and Scott booked the beautiful General's House in Fort Monroe. It is such a dream location for a wedding. You don't need a lot of decorations for such a dreamy house. Brooke has such get taste and she is the DIY queen. I am jealous of her skills especially her handwriting.
The morning started with a rehearsal and then a wedding party brunch. Then it was off to get ready for the wedding. Brooke had all of her bridesmaids pick their own dresses and they did an amazing job. She had them write on chalkboards how they met each other and how long they have known each other (Such a cute idea.)
There is one thing I can say about this group of people is that they know how to have a good time. I literally couldn't take my camera away from my face during the reception because I didn't want to miss any good moments.
I am very happy to say that Brooke and Scott will be our friends for a very long time and I can't wait to watch their family grow!
